book club
All are welcome! Climate reality DFW Chapter members (non book club members) interested in joining any of the book discussions should convey their request to Jayashree Prasad via email at least a week ahead of the scheduled meeting. They will be provided with a link to join the meeting.
Goals for the book club:

Explore the environmental, economic, technological, and humanitarian facets of the climate crisis and how writers address these issues in rhetorically compelling ways.
-
Make a concerted effort to expand the book club membership to create a more diverse and inclusive community.
-
Engage Climate Reality Leaders through inquiry and choice, expand members' perspectives, and discover new depths by reading and discussing works chosen by the members.
-
Provide a forum for expressing feelings and opinions in a friendly and open atmosphere on climate related subjects or issues.
-
Build connection and community among Climate Leaders through discussion and dialogue.
-
Read pertinent and thought provoking articles to discuss and reflect
-
Nominate relevant and recently published books on appropriate subject matter.
