Super Massive Solar Farm in Texas

Slated to be built in five stages, Invenergy's Samson Solar Energy Center will be the largest solar installation planned in the U.S. The company is planning for 1.31 GW of production when completed. Located in northeast Texas, the Center will span 3 counties.

Several companies have signed power-purchase agreements including:

  • AT&T 500 MW

  • Honda 200 MW

  • McDonald's 160 MW

  • Bryan, TX 150 MW

  • Google 100 MW

  • Home Depot <100 MW

  • Denton, TX <100 MW

  • Garland, TX <100 MW
